    DOJ list certified handguns

i dont see ANY models for STI under the approved list, not even a single stack model. I heard a while back STI would not submit anything to CA for testing, I guess they werent kidding. Found a great deal on a single stack frame and cant buy it. Not in state

STI won't sell their guns in California, the owner believes California gun owners are responsible for the laws out here and it's his way of making a political statement.

If he believes that CA gun owners are responsible for CA gun laws, he must also believe that the prisoners at Auschwitz elected Hitler to office.

He's right. If gun owners voted in number, we wouldn't be in this mix, but the reality is that most aren't active. Voter turnout is hideously low. We have the leaders we deserve.

            some law Gray Davis signed....

I read on another forum that STI pulled out CA sales was that Gray Davis (before he got the boot) signed a law that allowed people to sue gun manufacturers for wrongful deaths, file frivolous lawsuits, etc. STI is a small manufacturer and any lawsuit brought against them may be financially harmful. I emailed STI and asked that if the Commerce in Arms Act was passed, will they sell again in CA and I got an affirmative from them. However, they didn't submit any pistols before the end of 2006.

Go figure on that one. This state has the largest USPSA membership and one would think that the members would rally for STI to get some pistols in before it was too late. Now, if you want a STI frame pistol, you'll have to get a BS40 or SVI Competitor or Target.
