    Just Bought an FN Five-Seven

Just had to share with everyone, after waiting tooo long, I finally bought a FN five-seven USG . I was hoping to get an IOM (the one with the round trigger) but those are increasingly harder to get. For you guys on the fence, Buds Gun Shop is having a great price on them that isn't being advertised. PM me if your interested on the details, I dont work for them, just trying to pass the savings.

They're nice guns. Ammo is a little expensive, but compared to where it was a year ago, it's quite lower. I get it for $19/bx.

        Oh, I've always loved those.
I've heard rumors that Wolf is going to start producing the ammo. If there's truth to that, people may actually be able to afford to shoot them

It's possible - check for posts from Ivanimal, and read over on fivesevenforums.net (I think)

Neat. My gf bought me dies last year... I think they were Lee, as they came in a red box. Still haven't gotten around to using the things yet - I need to drill some holes to mount the Lee single stage press on my press workblock. While I do my real work with the Dillon, I keep the Lee press there for when I need to swage out a crimped pocket.

I wish they'd make a version of the Five-seveN in, say, .357 SIG. I know, I know. They're primarily using the 5-7 to push their round and the P90. I can dream.

Err, there's no point to a 5-7 in something other than 5.7x28mm. The point of the pistol was that, for military and police applications, it's a pistol with armor-piercing ammunition.

For civilians, of course, it's just a really neat low-recoil hollowpoint pistol with (if you live outside CA) an ungodly sized magazine.

Help a brother out, where are you getting your 5.7 for $17? I get my ammo from CWS and its cheaper than buying it from the local guys but its not that cheap.
