I'm in the southbay and I have a S&W 4566 TSW that needs to be broken down by an armorer and cleaned. How much should I expect to pay and anyone that you would recommend? Thanks for the help.

Not being snarky here...but why do you believe the weapon needs complete disassembly and cleaning by a smith? The S&W autos are pretty straight forward.Last edited by Paul S; 11-27-2010, 9:26 PM.Comment

+1.... unless you've recently put 10K rounds through a 4566 in a day or been tromping the boonies with it in a monsoon, there really isn't a lot of need to take an S&W auto past simple take down for cleaning. This is from the perspective of someone who has owned several S&W autos of all three generations.
YMMV, of course.
