Hi-point jammed on COPS? NO WAY

Some guy fired two rounds out of his car while the police were chasing behind him. The gun jammed on him after two rounds. I know we have a lot of hi-point fanbois on this forum and they think hi-points are good as Glock, M&P, XD, etc... Waiting for them to jump in.

C-380 nose in feed jam. Classic Hi-Point. You have to polish the feed ramp to fix that.

I often wonder why folks.have so much hate for a gun company they say isn't worth a ****? They say you can judge yourself by your enemies, if that's the case the HiPoint company is on the right track.

Funny bad guys don't shoot cops and folks still ***** WOW!! Hi points are great range toys and with a few mods they make great HD guns when it's your only option.... As I always say I rather have a HiPoint then a rock.....

Kinda hard to shoot from a moving vehicle.. last time I checked there isn't a shooting from a moving vehicle course to train your self not to limp wrist your high point while trying to shoot down an officer driving behind you..

That wasn't a limp wrist jam. When you limp wrist a hi-point the slide doesn't reciprocate far enough. The slide doesn't stay open on that type of jam. It forms a type one malfunction. What you saw there was the nose of the bullet jamming the action as it stuck into the face of the feed ramp. Out of the box Hi-Points have powder coating on the feed ramp. It is like sand paper. XD's do it with SWC lead, 1991's do it with wide mouthed JHP's, never heard of a glock doing it, but Hi-Points do it with boring regularity. Even after you polish the feed ramp it happens if you use ammo with a long OAL.

I'd say they were just right. They did what they need to in order to be safe, but they didn't act out of retaliation or give the camera another excuse for cop bashers.
