Only noticeable different between two cylinders that worth to mention were the point of aim will be slightly off (at least from my pistol). I can't tell any noticeable difference in accuracy, but I have learned that many shooters blame their equipments when skill was what needed to be tuned.

Ruger BH's are built like tanks. Had a .357 version which I bought in 1985 and sold in 2008. Between those years, I lost count of the magnum loads I put through it. When I sold it, the action was still tight and gun was reliable and accurate.

Don't have the convertible model, but I love my Blackhawk .357. Built to last several lifetimes.

I used to have one with the 4 5/8 barrel, wish I had never sold it. I only shot a few 9mm's through it, mostly .357's. accuracy was fine with either, though not really enough 9mm's for a fair comparison. I had zero problems with it. I'd buy another in a heartbeat.

That's the one I have. I totally agree, too--built like a tank, zero problems. I can't imagine ever parting with it, either (it's my first handgun).

The convertible's the way to go. I've got a 6'' barrel that I purchased 20 years ago. No problems whatsoever. 9mm is half the cost of 357 and trigger time is what it's all about. Check your screws for tightness every so often when shooting the magnum loads, they will come loose.
