Question on selling handguns

Hey Guys. I officially just moved to California. I'm applying for my CA drivers license this week and i'll be registering all my handguns this week too.

I want to sell 2 of my guns, a Ruger LCP and a AR-15 pistol lower (both brand new).

Do i have to wait until i get my license before i sell those items?

I would, I'd be surprised if the FFL you go through for the PPT would be cool with a temp license.
