Another ab962 ??

This is the problem with AB962... it does not specify the cartridges. That is why there are several lawsuits against it as it is entirely too vague... one actually lists a northern CA sheriff as the plaintiff.
Since you can get a rifle that shoots the same caliber as a handgun, as well as handguns that shoot typical rifle cartridges, the law isn't enforceable without restricting all calibers. There was a supplemental bill that was introduced before the end of the last senate session that specified the restricted cartridges, but it failed to pass.
Plus, it was found out that AB962 doesn't ban internet sales as it was intended to do. Rather, it makes ID checks a requirement for sale/ delivery, which is an available service from FedEX & UPS.95,000,000 people die each day in the U.S. from gun violence

ammo for use in handguns as defined in 12323:
ab962 text: http://www.leginfo.ca.gov/pub/09-10/...ntroduced.html"Handgun ammunition" means ammunition principally for use in pistols, revolvers, and other firearms capable of being concealed upon the person, as defined in subdivision (a) of Section 12001, notwithstanding that the ammunition may also be used in some rifles.*REMOVE THIS PART BEFORE POSTING*Comment

A vague, confusing California gun/ammo related piece of legislation? I'm shocked something like that could become law....This is the problem with AB962... it does not specify the cartridges. Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!Comment
