Here is a reason I would buy a Glock

As a pistol, I do not like the egros, but I have always wanted a carbine/pistol like this. Maybe they will make this for a few weapons....

I like FAB defense...The magwell grip I bought works well for me!

Is the tax stamp for a SBR?
That thing is awesome, and I could totally see myself using that as a truck gun or HD weapon.

Nope. It makes a SBR due to the stock. Very Illegal here in Cali.

Anyways. I like the RONI-G kit better.

Well you still have to pay the tax stamp right?

I am also wondering if you convert the glock using this kit, if it is legal to convert it pack to pistol form..

As I mentioned. The kit makes it a SBR cause of the stock. Easy to look up. Which is why most of these kits haven't taken off in other states as well. Some don't think its worth converting your pistol to a SBR. Once a SBR, it has to stay that way, you can not have both.

Even if it was legal in CA to own one of those, how would they even know if you switched back n forth between pistol and carbine? If you did it in the comfort of your own home I don't see the hang up.

                      Yes.

In order to legally possess/use the kit with a handgun, you will need BATFE approval for a SBR.
Once, you get approval, the firearm now becomes a SBR and is treated like one no matter what configuration it is in.

You can purchase the kit and convert it as many times as you want in the confines of your own home. You can prop it up on your coffee table and stare at it. Just as I can take off the bullet buttons on all my off list rifles at home...it is still against the law and an illegal 'configuration'. I wouldn't do it. They can also possibly get you for constructive possession. What good is a gun you cant even take out and shoot or practice/train with?

I really think a normal Glock

with a laser or dot scope and a high cap mag is more practical.

All you're getting is a pistol that looks like a Transformer..LOL..

By the time you get that stock unfolded and the weapon shouldered someone with a normal Glock would zap you good.

I'd much rather see a neat compact 10MM carbine based on Glock magazines.

                            JMO...YMMV

This weapon with the red dot, open sites and a 20 round mag is all you need.

And it is California Legal...no Tax Stamp needed.
                            Actually she holds 21 rounds.

Gotcha.....So it would need the "tax stamp", but it could be converted back to a pistol if wanted?
