Recommendations for Black Friday 9mm or.40?

I'd like to keep it under $450. Aesthetics and super build quality/ super accuracy are not priority. Main things im looking for: 1. reliability 2. a crisp and light stock trigger (so probably not a double action only) 3. good sights

I had the same question, so i went with a .40 cal Glock and purchased a 9mm conversion barrel for it, so i shoot both calibers with the same weapon platform. also need a 9mm mag for proper function. Glock has many cheap trigger options if you are unhappy with the factory 5.5lb. The Glock factory night sights are quite nice as well. Cant go wrong with a Glock.

At $450 on Black Friday, you're probably looking at a Ruger SR9.

Glock 19 would be a great choice.
