If you have a good pellet pistol, the bugblaster is one of the greatest inventions ever made. It turns the pellet gun into a mini shotgun that uses table salt to blast bugs from a few feet away. http://bugblaster.net/
Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.

I used to pump up my bb gun with no pellets. One pump = stun, 10 = just legs hanging from a web.
With all this "gun control" talk, I've not heard one politician say how they plan on taking guns from criminals, just law abiding Citizens.

Buddys wife had some quick dry nail polish spray. We hit a Black Widow with that stuff and it froze solid instantly, flick with a finger, it shatters, and laugh your arse off.
There are 3 kinds of people in this world.
The wise, learn from the mistakes of others.
The smart, learn from their own mistakes.
The others, well......they just never learn.

When I was a kid I would use my pump pellet gun . . . no pellet or BB, just shooting the compressed air 1" to 2" away from the target. Two or three pumps worked for most spiders, eight pumps for wasps and yellow jackets!

✟ In the beginning was the 1911, and the 1911 was THE pistol, and it was good. And behold the Lord said, "Thou shalt not muck with my disciple John's design for it is good and it workith. For John made the 1911, and lo all of his weapons, from the designs which I, the Lord, gave him upon the mountain."✟ -1911 Opperator

That's the one I used. Ask me how I know a fly can jump as high as 1" with wings that have been blown off!

Just squeeze them between your fingers. Nothing more satisfying. Wear gloves for the poisonous ones or if they have fangs longer than an inch
