    How'd I do?...P2000 SK

    Hi All.

The other day, I stopped over at a local gun shop inquiring if they had an HK P2000 SK. Just my luck they had a brand new one in 9mm for consignment. Turned out a guy went through all the DROS'ing etc, and back out and wanted to get his money back but couldn't and so he put it up for consignment. To make a long story short, I did a PPT and paid about $750 with transfer fees...for a BRAND SPANKIN' NEW HK P2000 SK. Just wanted to know if this was reasonable.

    Thanks!

Go shoot it. If you like it and are happy, you've done well.

      That is a GREAT deal!

      Love those P2000s. I have a P2000 in 40 that I love and I am planning on buying a P2000SK in 40 as well.
"Most people understand that guns deter criminals. If a killer were stalking your family, would you feel safer putting a sign out front announcing, "This Home Is a Gun-Free Zone"? But that is what the Westroads Mall did" (in Omaha, Neb).

Yeah, I went window shopping at some other local shops. Turner's was selling it for about $839 minus DROS fees and they were out of it and were waiting for a new shipment, but has been a while. I called M.B. Retting and they were also out of it and pricing the P2K SK for about $869. Just wasn't sure if there were other places, except the internet, that was selling P2K SK's lower.

Thanks exiledviking. I loved shooting it since I held and shot it the first time at an indoor range with my buddies. Never thought I'd be able to get one. Now I finally did.
