    Walther Trigger

Got an intro into combat shooting, from a friend in Special Ops and a Marine friend of his, over the weekend.

I brought my Walther P99 (.40) and .....learned that the trigger pull is ungawdly long after firing the variety of handguns that these two guys brought.

I also learned how nice the Springfield 1911 Loaded is - after renting one.

The question; is it possible to shorten up the trigger pull on the Walther? has anyone had this done?

    Thanks.

Do you have the P99 QA or AS? Because if you have the P99 QA, theres not much you can do to shorten the pull since its a double action only, even though it is their "quick action". I believe the its an 8 lbs trigger.

You might want to try the P99AS, which is the double/single action p99.
