I hope they never put that hot barrel in water. If I recall my metallurgy correctly, a cold quench would make that barrel very brittle. I wouldn't think it would be a safe thing to do.

I don't think that was part of the objective. That and could you imagine a paper target still present after the first 300? If you want to hang the new target that is on you...
