    Gen4 GLOCK 17 availability?

Are Gen4 GLOCK 17 available here in California? I have got a couple different answers localy. Then when I see them for sale here in the ads they are priced $750+. $750 for a Glock?

Gen 4 Glocks are not on the California approved list. That means that unless you are an exempt person you cannot buy one in the way that you usually would buy a gun through a gun store. There are ways to get around the California approved list, such as by receiving one through a ppt sale, but because of that they are rare in this state. This is why some people charge so much for them. So yes, they are available, though rare, and sometimes difficult to get due to the legal requirements.

yes, there are ways of getting them. But why the gen3 has a much longer service history and allot of problems are associated with the gen4 mainly the 9mm. I'd stick to the gen3's.
