      I seriously doubt the P225 will be renewed, as with the Walther P1's I believe it was a private importer that submitted them so the surplus pistols could be sold.....

        Why is the P225 model not listed as a P6, if that is the case?

          I thought only the manufacturer could submit guns for test or I'm sure that quite a few of us would have submitted guns to the DOJ for testing :-P

            I have heard that essentially anyone can submit pistols for testing, however the process is very expensive... such that most mere mortals would not likely be able to afford it. I might be wrong about who, but not about the cost...
