S&W Sigma 9mm Question

Way too much for a Sigma. I've seen a few in the CGN marketplace for around $250-$300. The Sigma triggers are absolutely terrible D:

You can get a like new Springfield XD9 for $390 right now in the marketplace.

I have to agree with you.

I shot an acquaintance's Sigma in .40 and that thing was ridiculous! The trigger pull was odd and it actually hurt my hand to shoot that thing. If you're looking for a good 9mm that won't break the bank, check out the Sig Sauer SP2022 in 9mm. I love mine and it's probably the exact opposite of the Sigma - one of the best triggers on a production piece.

I like Sigmas and I have no problem with the trigger pull, but then again I am used to DA revolvers. The Sigma trigger is par for the course for S&W triggers which tend to be heavier than other manufacturers I have experience with. That being said, I'd say that $400 is not a good price at all for a used Sigma and that you should expect to pay no more than $250-$300 for a used Sigma plus I'd expect goodies thrown in such as extra mags and such. You can get a brand new one for just over $300, and reduce that with the S&W rebate offer. I'd say pass on the offer or dicker with your guy down to $250 with any extras he might have for the gun.
