Schuemann AET Barrel?

No experience here, but in just reading their own materials I'd wait for the gen 2 versions.I voted against Obama before it was cool.
Originally posted by 1911LuvrI beg to differ. The full length dust cover rail makes a world of difference in the "when I run out of bullets I'm going to beat you to death with the pistol" look that causes bad guys to run in fear, and lesser men to feel inadequate. It looks just plain beastly and the extra heft up front does help manage recoil a bit better. Plus, an angel told me that when God called JMB to heaven it was to build him a full rail 1911! -
In my experience the AET barrel can be extremely accurate, however the key is in the fitting, an inproperly fitted barrel will never shoot to its full potential, and it would make no difference on the brand. It is always best to find a gunsmith to fit your barrel that has a lot of experience at this.Comment

I just bought a Tribrid II for my 6" 9mm build. I am sending it out for fitting once my other parts (reverse plug and slide stop) arrive. This one is ribbed without ports and I will have a front sight milled into it. I can give you details when I get it back if you have not already bought one.Comment
