Springfield Compact .45acp vs. Longslide .45acp

I was surprised to find out I can shoot my Compact better than the Longslide I bought recently. In fairness I don't know the history of the Compact. It has some Wilson parts on it so maybe it was tuned at some point. The Longslide is brand new so maybe some rough edges will smooth out. I have an STI 6 inch Target Master so I'm used to the different characteristics of a long slide. Before anybody asks me what the group sizes are let me tell you I'm a terrible shooter, I don't bother measuring groups but there was a significant difference. I admit I like 6 inch slides just because I like them, I'm not expecting better accuracy or anything. I want to get some parts together to have a 9mm longslide in the future.
