Go to a gun store that caters to LEO like Proforce in Brea. You need a LE badge and ID to get in. Then just make a purchase like any other store.

Ok ok im gonna walk into my local gun store ask for some hiicap mags and when they make a big deal and lecture me about the legality of it i can come here and post another thread about how stupid people who work at gun stores are and you guys will get all worked up about it and back me up : ) sounds fun

Well technically any gun store with those 10/30 pmags that have the plastic blockers in them could just give them to the LE and he can remove the block. Or is it illegal for LE to "manufacture". Hell can't the store do that?

Show your ID and badge. They will make a copy of your ID to keep on file just in case the DOJ want to see them.

Every gun store I shop at sells hi-cap magazines. You just have to ask.
