Seems like there's some good feedback on the website.

Personally, I like the XD9 tactical as is, and use the slingshot method anyways, but might change my tune as I get involved in gun games. Thought maybe I'd pick up some stuff from their website just to have in case it becomes unobtanium just when I decide I want it. (happens to me quite a bit for some reason..haha)

I have both.

The striker spring guide is cool. The stock plastic one is said to break, I swapped mine out before it had the chance. The stock slide stop is slim, the ESS is a "3D" version of the stock one. The ESS is not just for releasing the slide. It helps to get positive engagement if you need to fix a malfunction, or just locking the slide to the rear.
