    On roster? Just 1, "K".

Off roster? Tons. I just got myself a Combat Commander in 9mm single shot exempted.

I'll take a few in better lighting tomorrow. Just have one quick "proof of life" photo of the roll mark I took real fast for my write-up thread on the single shot process.

Right now, I think three total.

          On the roster:

          SA
          Kimber
          Para

Next up for me a P30L; after that, the object of my true affection, a top of the line 1911 chambered for 9.

I know it's expensive but Wilson Combat has a few guns that on the roster.

Aww man, beautiful. I had one of those, the first gun I learned on. Brings me back just looking at the side of it.

I think they only have .38 Super in 1911's.

                    Only .45 ACP no 9's.

If you can find the Kimber Stainless Target model, that's approved on the list.

The target model is the one with the adjustable sights. Don't confuse it with the Kimber Stainless 9mm. which has fixed sights, and isn't approved.

yes though .38 super extractors are iffy on 9mm. some people it runs flawless others have problems.

there's a decent chance you can drop in a 9mm barrel on a 38 super and have it work fine (same mags too).

I have a Kimber Target I bought from another member knowing it had few FTE/FTF issues, I've tinkered with it for almost a year before I gave up and sent it back to the factory to have it fixed. After paying $85 in shipping cost (which Kimber did not cover since it was out of warranty) and waiting for 6 weeks, all of the problems have been fixed and it now shoots great. Turned out that prior owner had put in wrong springs, wrong guide rod, wrong slide stop and wrong magazines. Lesson learned, don't swap out the factory parts on Kimber 9mm unless you are willing to experiment and know what you're doing. But now that all of the problems are fixed, it's a sweet gun to shoot.

I've heard good things about Springfield 9mm and they cover their guns for life unlike Kimber, so if I had a choice between the two, I'll take Springfield.

Here's my wife's Kimber Pro Carry HD II chambered in 9mm.

                              Shoots great!
