Duarte Wal Mart cracks me up.

I was passing them on the 210 last weekend so I stopped in for some 9mm. The clerk scanned it and it was back up to $14.xx. But they had 40 on sale for $16/100 rd value pack. So instead on 9mm, I bought 2 cases of .40, for the planned purchase of a G23.

That Wal Mart seems to be better managed than the other ones I frequent, slightly different product mix, enticing ammo pricing they constantly monkey with which leads to a line at the sporting goods counter.

Most of us in line I notice also have oil, movies and/or books/magazines.

WW in Orange has a lot of BB 45. I was there yesterday.

I bought the last of the 40. They had some 9mm in stock too.

Wow I would love to pick up 40 WWB for $16.XX. Do they put ammo on sale much?

BTW I prefer Blazer Brass to WWB. I think it is slightly cleaner.

Wallyworld in La Habra corner of Beach Blvd and Imperial Hwy just got a shipment of all their ammo including the Blazers. I bought a case of .45 and some 9mm. They have a huge stock if anyone wants to clean them out before they are gone.

I haven't tried any of the Blazer Brass but the Blazer aluminum cased ammo is definitely cleaner than WWB.

The Blazer Brass was definitely a nice surprise when I was picking up a value pack of shotgun shells at the Victorville Walmart. 10.97 is around the same as the best price I can find on the net once you add in shipping. I also find the BB slightly cleaner than WWB and far cleaner than Independence. The best part is the look on the ammo counter's face when you ask if they have any more in the back.

I was pleasantly surprised by this ammo as well. Both my P220ST and Raptor II have no issues eating this ammo.

Picked up 5 more boxes of .45acp at the Walmart off Beach in OC. I've been buying ammo but haven't had the time to go shoot. They had plenty of Remington .223 also.

Wished I had more dough to spend.

Anyway, I went to the Walmart in Fairfield today and picked up 20 boxes of blazer brass at $10.97/box. Considering that blazer aluminum is up to 10.89 at Natchez and Outdoor Marksman, I figured this was a pretty good deal. The WWB was at about $27 for the 100 pack. They still had 4 boxes left. It seems like 45ACP is getting pricier and pricier everyday.

The Walmart near me doesn't handle ammo.... It is in the City of Los Angeles....

I live just a block from the new Walmart in Rosemead and they don't carry ammo. Sucks but I guess if I were to ever visit the one in Duarte I'd get better prices. Other option is La Puente but while I am still in OC, I goto the one on Beach or the 24 hour Walmart on Ketella.
