    Recommended Range Bags

I am in the market for a good range bag. It has to be able to carry at least 2 handguns, a good amount of magazine, and prefer a heavy duty cloth to the more plastic-y looking bags.

I've looked all around at various prices but am curious what has worked for you. Any recommendations?

    Thanks!

PS - I tried to search this but searching 'range bag' gets about every other thread pulled up.

The gold standard in my opinion for range bangs

Plenty of room for everything and has two gun rugs. Best bang for the buck

Bagmaster, lots of choices and they are made in America.

Whenever this topic comes up, the Midway bag seems to be the favorite.

I bought a Shooters Connection bag and I hear the Midway is very similar... but MUCH cheaper.

+1 on the Midway bag, it's large and when it's on sale like it is right now, unbeatable. 2 rugs and a removable center section (that's 2 bags in one!).

The Bagmasters look very nice and I REALLY like that they're made in the USA, but at ~3x the price, I'd rather save my money on the bag and put it into ammo.

I have the tac-force (small) bag. I really like it and it's great for 2 pistol trips to the range.

So um... moon labia or something.

I've got both bags. They are the same design. Shooter's Connection bag is MUCH higher quality. SC advertised you could put a full case of ammunition on their bag and it wouldn't collapse....it's true

BTW, don't do that with the Midway bag

I'm a huge fan of my Uncle Mike's Deluxe Range bag. It is very tough and well built and can hold 2 guns, tons of mags and the middle compartment can hold many many boxes of rounds. Highly recommend it. Only downside -> comes with only 1 pistol rug.

My friend has the Glock range bag and I noticed that it has a removable bag within a bag that lets you hold 2 pistols + ammo. Love it. This is the other bag I would get if I did not have the Uncle Mike's.

I second that, although I bought the large one. It's almost too big, but the bigger the better!

I also have the small Tac-Force bag, and agree it is excellent. Very sturdy construction, and an impressive number of compartments (all zippered, with good zippers). Get a look at one if you can. Perfect for two handguns with ammo, accessories, etc. Good mag pockets in each handgun section. Was exactly what I was looking for.

One of I've noticed between the Shooters Connection bag and the 5.11 Tactical Range bag is that the dimensions and features are almost the same except for price. The MidwayUSA is still the best out there. Granted you can go custom and get your a bail out bag and just by two gun rugs or be content to use a duffel bag.

Whatever you choose, consider the size? For me it was easy, go one size bigger. I dont shoot indoor so I didnt have a need for a smaller compact bag.
