Yeah, that is the plan. I figured I would try and make it easy, so I am gonna see if I could just send a prepaid envelope so all you have to do is drop it in the mail.

Since the Gen 4 glock is not on the approved roster the only way to get them into the state is via the single shot exemption. There are a few factors to make a single shot pistol exempt from the roster( like being only able to feed one round at a time and a meet a min. barrel length).

Pricing wise, The G17 with night sights would be $625 delivered including shipping for the parts back to me. I will be able to do the fixed sights for a bit less, but the distributor I like to use didn't have any in stock when I ordered the one I have now.

Here is a photo of the barrel installed. I couldn't put it in the original post cause it was too large and I had to make it smaller. Also, the gen 4 glocks come with 3 17rd magazines that I will send to you broken down as rebuilds.

just wondering.....are the gen4's really that much better than the gen3's? And, are the gen3's completely out of production so there are no more new Glocks available in CA yet? (if so is there a tentative date for roster approval?)

gen3 are not out of production, but they are most likely scaled back a lot.
