Sig Barrel Question

I want to polish my P228 barrel but I don't know if it's stainless steel. Any ideas?

I had my P228 barrel polished professionally by Customized Creationz. It looked really cool, but I regretted it later. The finish on SIG barrels is a protective finish. Removing it will make it less rust resistant.

If you're just trying to get rid of the smile, you're wasting your time by rebluing. The smile will be back after a few rounds.
