My first glock

OK,
as some of you know, I am not a huge Glock fan, however, I am a big handgun fan. Well I finally bit the bullet on a deal that I couldn't refuse. I am getting a Glock 17 from a ppt. I'll post pics as soon as they are available. I am pretty excited. Anything that I should expect from it (i.e nuances and such that someone who hasn't shot glocks all that much before)? I typically shoot SA revolvers, and my beloved M&P.

The trigger will be a lot different then on your revolvers, on the two glocks i've shot (and loved) it's more of a snap then the long pull of a SA.

Congrats i am trying to work up to a G21 but cant make up my mind.........

my G22 does the same thing...sort of a pinch after a few hundred rounds in 1 session. Its a workhorse, so its not going anywhere.

Nuance is not something most people associate with Glocks. They are simple, reliable, and have a not so great trigger with an outstanding trigger reset. Enjoy.

Cute . . . However embellished that statement is and far from the initiated truth . . . And I am a owner of 6 Glocks, which I love. One of which is a gen1 G17.

OP, congrats to you on your first Glock. I trust you will find your Glock to be very reliable. The trigger feel is not the best when compared to others. However, mine afford good accuracy and they have all functioned flawlessly for many 1000s of rounds.

400 out the door. From what I understand this one has had a bit of work done to it so maybe the trigger will be nicer. Only time will tell. Damn 10 day wait.
