He's probably looking at night sights. But I couldn't see doing much of anything to a G-27.

Arotek - no sight pusher needed

If you buy Arotek night sights you don't need a sight pusher to install them. The rear slides into the dovetail and is held in place by two tiny screws. The front also uses a small screw and some Loctite. I have them on two Glocks and they work perfectly. They make both night sights and conventional sights.

Well he's gonna need a sight pusher to remove the existing ones, unless you drift them out.
