no it does not. but nice to know the HK45c does have a O-ring. where as before the USPc did not and only the USP tactical and mark23 where the ones with O-rings.

so HKs new .45s do... all variants.

but there 9mms and 40s do not.

Being a revolver guy, I have noticed that weight is a factor. I am more accurate with my stainless S & W .38 than with a lightweight titanium based revolver.
I think there is a trade off, much like a snub nose barrel vs. a 4 inch barrel.
In some situations, like CCW, you may prefer a lighter gun.

I shot a Desert Eagle semi auto the other day, built like a tank and weighted a ton, but very easy to shoot.

Perhaps I should shoot a wider variation of guns chambered in .45 before I make my purchase, then. I don't mind the heavier gun, especially since it was, or seemed less snappier. Then again, I've not yet had any formal training, so there could be a way to combat this that I don't know yet. Still, those commander size 1911's are sexy as hell... I'd love to get me one of them long with a CCW. Then again, 9mm is so much cheaper.
This may sound strange and unbelievable to you, but it is real and true.

But if youre in Sac, it should be that much easier for you from what I understand. I don't plan on applying until I transfer out of my community college up here; hopefully I'll be moving to a friendly county.
