Went to a gun show on 9/12 and bought a pistol. The gentleman wrote down my credit card information, but I didn't get charged for the pistol until 9/16. Does this mean that my wait period started on the 16/17th? Or did the 12th count because that's when they did the background check thing where the call the number? My guess is the wait period started on the 16/17th, but I hope this isn't true. Gun store won't answer the phone, and when they do, they have horrendous reception and can't hear me.
