1 inch is what the gun is guaranteed to do. that means it will do that if it is clamped into a vise and trigger pulled by a robot. real world condition will be much worst depending on the shooter. dont expect it to shoot a magic bullet that will find itself into a 1 inch circle regardless of the shooter.

That's all on you, not the gun.

Yes it is, from a ransom rest.

Wilsons' are the most consistently well made guns out of all of the semi customer brands out there. Everyone I've handled feels superb, and the trigger is always nice. Can't say the same for the other brands including Baer, Nighhawk, and Brown.

Having said that, always examine the particular sample to make sure it's up to your expectations.

You will not be disappointed. I don't know anyone with a Wilson that is.
          Never return fire!

Every wilson is hand made and fitted. If it doesnt shoot one inch they will fix it to shoot one inch groups.

Any CUSTOM that is truly considered a custom better darn well be beautifully hand fitted and no disappointments in the trigger either. My custom colt meets my needs 100% and racks like you're pulling 2 glass plates together. It has a great trigger at 2 3/4 lbs done by larry mears and lots of custom stuff elsewhere. I am just surprised that somebody would say that ANY semi-custom gun would come with a bad trigger in any way shape or form.

I had one. It did not shoot 1" at 25 yards. Hell, it did not shoot 1" at 15 yards. It had a badly machined ejection port and breech face. The bushing was loose. I sent it back and they repaired it. The bushing was still loose. The barrel now had .010" of endshake. The gun still would not shoot 1". I ended-up selling it.

My CQB was a pretty gun, that's it. If you want a good 1911, get a Springfield Custom anything.

I have a CQB with a rail and it is a joy to shoot. It can shoot an inch off a rest. Their customer service is amazing.
