What is the going price for a Smif Model 22?

I have a chance at a S&W 22-4, but the fellow wants to know what the going price is in California (he is in Oregon).

He is not trying to price gouge me, it seems he traded into the gun as part of a multi-gun deal and now wants to sell it. So we are trying to figure a value.

This is the Thunder Ranch version, which has the ranch logo on the grips. There are no other Thunder Ranch stampings, logos or gold inlays, just a nicely blued gun with the laser engraved grips. Probably has had about two hundred rounds through it, tops. Condition is like new. Box, papers, etc, are all present.

What do you suppose this would sell for around the SF Bay Area?

I think City Arms has one, I can't recall exact price. Might want to give them a ring but I'd be OK paying $550.00 or so.
