I have the cdp ii and its pretty snappy on recoil. Love the gun though.

I have fired both, and own a CDPII. Very happy with my choice! Much lighter to carry, great shooter, just keeps getting better with age too. Picked it up about 6 years ago.

I have both the Pro CDP II and the Pro Eclipse II. Both are well made weapons with the Eclipse being more on the eye catching side. Weight is the difference when it comes down to it, steel or alloy. If you are going to be packing, the CDP is the way to go.

I have an Ultra CDP II and it has digested 9 of the 10 types of ammo I've thrown at it with nary a hiccup (Magtech was the exception). I am pleased with the accuracy for a 3" gun and won't be letting this one go. Very nice night sights, too.

Just made my choice yesterday. CDP II. 9 more days. FCinCA had it right, If you're gonna carry, then CDPII
