Do i need an FFL for reapirs?

I Just purchased my New Taurus pt24-7 .45 late last month and i finally cleared my 10 day on the 4th, i was broke that week so i didnt get a chance to break it in, I finally got the chance to the other day and it jammed or failed to feed correctly on every round i tried(2 different brands). So i need to send it in for repairs, the question is in California can i legally ship the firearm myself? and when they are done can the ship it back to me or do i need to have an FFL ship it?

No FFL needed unless Taurus gives you a new pistol with a different serial #. Other than that you can ship it to Taurus via Fedex or UPS and they can ship it directly to your door. Is Taurus paying for the shipping?

Just got off the phone with them and they are paying fedex to come get it tomorrow, they aren't saying whether its gonna be covered by warranty or not but it sure as hell should be. I think imma have separation anxiety lol
