S&W MP 45cal. RECALL

Im just curious if any of you guys have had to have your S&W MP 45cal sent back to factory for the recall? I think its the firing pin safety plunger or something like that? Anybody know more about this? Thanks

If any of you have sent it in, was it fixed, how long did it take, did you notice a problem while firing the gun, etc?

I just checked S&W's website and I don't see anything about the M&P pistol being recalled. Just a few bolt actions and 22 pistols being recalled.

M&Ps are not being recalled. What's the source of your info?

I scoured s&w website and mp-pistol and came up with nothing. I have an M&P 45 so if you have more info, I would like to know. But until then, I am calling bunk.

Oh I was gonna buy one from somebody and he told me he just got a letter from S&W yesterday stating his 45 may have to be sent it for recall. So I am
Waiting to hear from him, he said he was gonna call S&W tomorrow morning to find out more. That's all I know of as of now.

I have not received a letter like this for any of my M&P's.
