1st...have a front sight on the way ..truglow green dot (metal screw on)

2nd...thinking about a ext slide stop (fac. only) question with this is...I've had people tell me no...and some say yes.....sticks out to far on a compact pistol ? ....what do all ya all think ???

3rd...just a grip plug to keep dirt out

last would be a ext mag release , may be CCW'n with it and not sure if it will stick out to far....as in bump it on a draw ????

i will stick with #1 and #2. I keep hearing people say to add the grip plug to keep the dirt out. It is not like you shoot your glock in the mud or anything. I need that hole so if I ever get a double feed, it is much easier to pull the mag out.

Personally I didn't get an ext slide stop lever for my Glock because I always rack the slide, I never close the slide with the slide stop.. Grip plug is only cosmetic and your personal taste, I have heard if you're like a tactical shooter and what not you can actually build up a bunch of crap with the plug in it since it cannot get out but who knows.

What I would do personally and did on my Glock is a metal guide spring rod, I had trouble with the take down tabs so I bought extended ones which work great and effortless and talon grips because it was a little too slippery for my personal taste.. I have just recently installed XS sights on my glock.. Mag release is up to you, I don't have a problem with mine but some people say it can be a little tricky if you have to drop the mag with one hand.. Hope this helps and just have fun with it but thing of ergonomics as well and things that would better fit your needs.

The sight is a good idea. The extended slide stop isn't really necessary if you operate the slide as Glock intended (reaching over the top of the slide with support hand, grasping and pulling back to release). The grip plug isn't necessary either but if you like them, it won't hurt anything to try it. The extended mag release is something I wouldn't put on a carry weapon unless it's physically impossible to release the magazine using the stock release, just because the less protrusion on a carry gun, the better IMO.

I am making the assumption that you plan to carry it or use it for HD. If not, then there's no reason not to put the extended slide stop and mag release on if you want to try them. Just don't use the slide stop as a slide release as it's not made to do that.
I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!

          I reload in .45 auto so I bought a

Lonewolf Stainless barrel. Extended because I liked the way it looked. If I get tired of the 1/2 inch sticking out I will cut it off with my Giant Bandsaw.

It allows me to shoot various lead bullets without clogging up the barrel. I am amazed at how accurate this Baby .45 is. Really. It feeds everything I drop in it.

I also have some Tru-Glo sites I will be installing. I have those on a Glock 20 and I really like the site picture. Easy on my eyes. (less effort for my eyes)

I did install the slide release with the small bump. I usually sling-shot the slide but I wanted the option of occasionally being able to drop the slide with one hand; almost impossible with the stock release (for me anyway) and that small bump is hardly noticable.

Having a large pile of Pre-Ban Magazines allowed me to run with some 13 round Glock 21 Mags. And to take up the space (some don't used anything at all) I installed a magazine sleeve.

If you don't have pre-pan mags (or can't have) you can always use the Glock 21, 10 round mag, which only has a single stack, but is the same size as the 13 rounder. That way you can get the large grip advantage if you want it. For carry use, I use the normal mag (almost flush) that came with the weapon. No problems.

Also an orange mag bottom so I know what's what'. (I've have another color for my 10mm mags).

If I get crazy I might install a mag extension on the 13 rounder; makes it 17 rounds of .45....but probably not.

If I carry, it's usually a Glock 23 or Glock 29. But this is one sweet weapon and I may carry it from time to time.

          Enjoy it..!

May the Bridges I burn light the way.

Enjoy. It's just fine as is. Mine has Trijicon sights and otherwise as delivered.

I had almost the same issues until 250 rnds and two complete breakdown cleanings later.

My G30 was very "tight" and really really "loosened" up. Best sidearm Ive ever owned and used.

Some LEO friends have made similar comments about the grip extensions trapping debris. And if you have trouble using the mag release single handed or might have a need to OCCASIONALY release the slide single handed - Then add the extended releases.

Even though mine work much better now - I'm going to install both. Never know when you might get injured and only have one hand/arm to defend yourself.

And don't forget to put some rounds down the range with your weak side...

Definitely get a grip plug. Go w/ the Deep 6 Comp from Glockparts.com. I went on a Jeeping trip w/ my G20 and was so glad I had the plug in. Kept the dust on the plug, not in the internals. Also acts as a magwell. As for the extended slide release. Why not? It's not that much and if you end up not liking it, just switch back to the stock. I thought about doing this myself but decided to keep them as stock as possible. If this is for self defense, definitely keep the barrel stock. Other than that a quality holster and either HST or Winchester Talons will do just fine.

                    SS guide rod
                    Vickers Extended Mag Release.

The SS guide rod is for peace of mind, not really a prob with the factory one. I couldnt drop a mag with the standard release without changing my grip. The vicker works perfectly and I can keep the same grip on the gun.

I love my extended slide release and extended mag release. If you get the extended mag release, sand down the sharp edges with sand paper to make it round and smooth. If you can drop the mag without changing your grip, then don't worry about it though. I got a grip plug and I like it, but it's not necessary IMO.
