Was looking to purchase this pistol and looked on gunbrokers. Whats the difference if its made in Italy or made in USA? Or is it only made in one country? I was looking to purchase the 92fs inox stainless.

Italy is orginal production, and is suppsed to be better (kinda like the German Sig issue).
American firearm sales now have to have a number of domestic parts, and so alot are made in the USA now.
Functionally, no issue. They're mechanically identical. Emotionally, it makes some people feel better about their gun, and it's a bit of a conversation point.
Inox is a nice choice, enjoy your gun. Don't forget to check calguns very own sales forum, i've seen a couple inox in the past few months.Originally posted by greasemonkey -

No technical differences between the US and Italian:
The military contract for the M9 required that a fair percentage be built in the US, thus the American plant.
I have read that one fellow thought the rolled markings on his Italian produced 92FS seemed to be "crisper" than his US model.
It's also a well known secret that they ship the Italian ones with a bottle of Chianti, and if you don't get one with yours, raise a ruckus.Send Lawyers, Guns and Money - On second thought, hold the Lawyers.Comment
