shoot one of your friend's guns and you shoot it better than any of the ones you own? Happened to me on Saturday.. shot a CZ for the first time and the only gun I own that I can shoot it better with is my Ruger GP 100 in 6"

yeah.. I have bought a few guns that way. It works out even better if your friend can't shoot the gun worth a damn.

It's funny how our collections have evolved over the years. Most of us have the same guns now in our group. You'll see a pile of 870s, a pile of Remington 700s, a pile of Les Baers, and a pile of Glocks with almost the same mods.

Yea.. thats exactly the problem.. now I can't get the CZ out of my head. Unfortunate the Phantom isn't on the roster... well, I guess its actually fortunate for my mind because I don't even have to bother with getting tempted to purchasing it if I continue to shoot CZs better.

Sometimes it is the gun, sometimes it is the shooter.
It happens to me too. I think it may be because when a buddy hands you a strange/new gun, there is little pressure to make a tight group, and you just shoot so naturally and relaxed and do everything right without over thinking.

The worst is if you are the friend that can't shoot well with your own guns...

I can't shoot my 1911 that I customized (trigger job, fitted beavertail, hammer) for some odd reason, but my friends always shoot it and shoot excellent groups with it. Then they always offer to buy it off of me...

As for the CZ
I too have a CZ (SP-01 with mods) and I can shoot that gun well. Great guns.
