I was wondering, what some of you have done to your sights on the Ruger LCP? I find them hard to find in low light. Is there a good fix?

Crimson Trace makes a laser sight for the LCP that I'm considerring; onlyoutdoorsports.com sells it for $140 but I've not used that vendor before."You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."
"What we get away with isn't usually the same as what's good for us"
"An extended slide stop is the second most useless part you can put on a 1911"
"While Ruger DA revolvers may be built like a tank, they have the aesthetics of one also,
although I suppose there are a few tanks which I owe an apology to for that remark"Comment

The LCP is primarily meant for close range; point and shoot. I had the chance to buy one but passed because the sights and size did not bode well with me.Life is like having a map with precise directions and exact stops, you find out that your directions and stops change as you progress further down your original map.Comment

A friend of mine has an LCP and the CT laser accessory. FWIW, When I asked him about the laser, he commented that he took it off b/c it interfered with his carry holster.

Yes you need a holster designed for an LCP with the laser. The pistol is designed for pocket carry in a pocket holster and excels at that."You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."

You can actually put three dot sights on the lcp. There are a few companies out there that install sights on the lcp if you send them the slide. It is not cheap though.Any gun owner who does not support the NRA is a freeloader.

Well, hmmm ...
It's pretty much a 10-yards-or-less gun, as far as I am concerned. I train up to 15 yards with it and don't have much trouble hitting 8" shoot-n-see targets, even with my unaided nearsighted eyes.
I'm not sure the LCP has a problem.|

I painted my front sight with white enamel (rear kept chipping off). Made a big difference.
Funny thing is this little gun is more accurate than ANY tiny pistol should be!

Thanks,
