What would your Handgun be?

The goverment is destroyed, its anarchy in the streets you could only have 1 handgun.....What would it be and why?

Mine would be a toss up between my 17 round SR9C, or my Ruger Sp101, nothing says die like a .357 mag HP

If I had a lot of ammo already stocked up, I would take the FN Five-seven for it's magazine capacity and sexiness... Then pick up others along the way.

Beretta 92F with plenty of pre ban mags.

Ammo is reasonable....Goes bang every time!

It will be my Sig GSR TTT, but me using it would mean my M96 Carbine is disabled or out of ammo and I'm fighting my way back to my AR or AK.

S&W 4506, I've got plenty of ammo and mags, a excellent drop leg holster and the gun is nearly indestructible.

Unlimited supply of ammo, or at least reloading supplies; my Glock 20 with Pre-bans. Nothing says penetration like 15rds of 10mm.

A 57 with a few 30 round mags will take care of business.

Add in a Glock 20 with a 20 round preban mag (20+1) and you can control a wide area. Like this one:
