Looking to buy one of these for my wife. Roster only lists the PI9209L which is the standard two-tone with wood grips. She's really liking the PI9210L which comes with the G10 grips. I'm guessing the only to do this here in the lovely state of CA is to buy the standard 9209 and then purchase the G10 grips separately? Or is there a way to get the PI9210L directly?

You would have to get the one with wood grips and add the G10 grips yourself.
Also, the Springfield EMP is listed weird on the roster at you FFL. It is not in the normal order, it is at the top of the list. They had a hard time finding it when I picked mine up 2 weeks ago... -
You are right the first time i believe. I just bought the one with wood grips and ordered the mil tac g10 grips for $69 more
..... But heh I got a smoking deal on gun broker so it worked out. Contact me if you want to see if the guys I got mine from have another (paid 1025 shipped!)

Thanks guys. I figured I'd have to "go around the block to get to the other side of the street" so to speak.
@SpringfieldEMP, it is listed a little weird on the roster to be sure.

there is a work around if you have a accommodating seller. ship him a set of plain 1911 grips and and have him drop the G-10 grips in the mail direct to you...because the journey is the worthier part...The Shepherd's TaleComment
