Replacement rear sight for Ruger MKII

Hey guys, I removed the factory rear sight on my MKII a while back, and replaced it with a rail and mounted a cheap red dot on it.

I'd like to be able to go back to an adjustable rear sight so that I can easily holster this pistol for use on my property to dispatch ground squirrels. The problem is, i misplaced the factory rear sight. I need a replacement rear sight that mounts in the factory recess, and includes a set screw (if necessary).

Any suggestions on something that is holster friendly? I'd love to get a set of fiber optic sights, but I know how fragile those can be, especially when a pistol is being holstered.

The factory sight like they use on the MKIII Hunter is pretty good..not sure if its priced well compared to the aftermarket sights though.

How would the fiber optic front fare in a holster though?

Check Hi-Viz's website to confirm use with your MkII. I purchased this set for my 22/45, 5.5" bull barrel. The front tube creates a bright sight picture. I tried the v-notch but liked the original square notch rear sight better and switched back.

This kit only includes the rear-sight blade. You'll still need to purchase the actual rear-sight unit.

I don't know how the tubes would fare in a holster. However, this is a fairly cheap upgrade to experiment with. Plus, you get a bunch of different-sized tubes to use.
