Question for the Colt Experts

VERY pleased when I opened the box yesterday and found it to be in better condition than I'd even hoped for:




So, I called the lady in Colt Customer Service regarding the finish.

She told me there was a "National Match Blue" and a "Royal Blue", but she did not know which finish was applied in 1978.

She also told me I could order the Colt "letter" for $100 that might answer my question about which finish it has.

Then she told me the Letter was their only available resource regarding that question.

What do the experts here know for sure?

Nice pictures of two different Colts.
Picture # 1 You can see the Roll Marks on the slide and the grip screws are oriented in the same direction.
Picture # # You can't see the roll marks and the grip screws are not oriented in the same direction.

I'm not an expert, but our early 80's Ser70/MxIV GCNM looks like the factory '67 pics, not that lower more "Royal" blue color.

as was mentioned the grip screws alignment in 4 and 5 are also different
