Any opinions on these little gems,also does anyone know if they are all steel or do they have some aluminum in there somewhere.

In the old days, Bearcat = aluminum frame, Super Bearcat = all steel. Supposedly the newest run of manufacture is all steel. They are great little guns, very little in my big hands. I had a Single Six at one point and a friend's Bearcat looked positively tiny next to it.
But that Bearcat was an awesome shooter, with the usual Ruger reliability. If I was in the market for a small .22 to toss in a ruck and go hiking, a Bearcat would be at the top of my list.
