I have an itch for another 1911 and I've narrowed things down to either a Colt XSE or a DW CBOB. So, what is the boards opinions on these guns???

Umm...save yourself the grief and get a Kimber or Springer.
That said, I would opt for the XSE. But thats just me.L.A. County

the XSE if it is fullsize. I had teething problems with my cbob. If you were comparing to a fullsize PM-7 then you would have a real debate. I would trade my cbob for a pm7 without hesitation because, in general, I'm really impressed with DW, but I have learned that I personally don't care for the commander sized 1911.
my last comment is that I like the 1991A1 looks since it is devoid of fwd cocking serrations.Comment

I have the DW CBob & the DW Pointman - buying the 1st convinced me to buy the 2nd. Dumped my Springfield Loaded in favor of the Pointman.
Chambers are a little tight on each, I had a sloppy reloaded cartridge or two stick in the chamber but other than that each one performed great. Very tight & smooth slide to frame to bbl fit, excellent sights.
I don't care for the full length recoil rod on the Pointman, but it comes out without tools. The CBob doesn't have the full length.
I think the CZ DWs are the best value around.GOA Member & SAF Life MemberComment
