Stellar customer service and support by Ruger!

    Background, long story made short:
Lent my SR9 Stainless to a friend, who did something seriously stupid with it and cracked the magazine release. Lesson learned.

So, I called Ruger and informed them about the warranty-voiding activity on the part of my friend, and inquiring about the cost of a parts kit.

    RESULT:
Ruger sends me a prepaid UPS shipping sticker, pays for shipping both ways, and has the pistol back in my hand (repaired and working better than ever) in less than 10 days time ... NO CHARGE. The included invoice states they also did a complete detail strip to check for any worn parts, a function test and firing of 20 test rounds, and they cleaned it as well.

Call me a lifelong Ruger fan and rabidly loyal customer.

    Yup.
Ruger has been very good to me over the years.
A few free parts and good service translates into a happy customer.
A quick count is about 14 Ruger products here, and there are a few more I am considering buying right now.
See what happens when you build quality products, stand behind them and treat customers well?

    Thank you Ruger!

Very good to know in case I ever need their service. Always heard they had good CS. Luckily, I'll probably never have to use their CS as I have a Ruger GP 100 (knock on wood).

I popped the head off the of a screw on my CZ453, which was out of warranty.

I sent the rifle to CZ USA, they made the repair and shipped it back to me at no charge.

Well, you definitely had a better experience than I had. I had to send in my KP944 after the trigger pin started drifting out repeatedly after only about 1,000 rounds. Ruger CS was initially very helpful, but it took them over four weeks to return the gun, and that was after I had to send a letter to their CEO!

And, they definitely did not clean the gun after test firing it before shipping it back!

Now at about 2,000 rounds the white dot suddenly came off my front sight. After talking to CS again, I definitely don't think it's worth the hassle and potential wait to have them replace it. Time to break out the hi-vis paint!

Ahh you see and people wonder why I love rugers so much! They are very well built guns and ruger CS is outstanding I ordered a couple of mag adapters for my SR9C and I had them 2 days later. I will always own a ruger
