    Ambi-Safety Oddity

i just picked up my Les Baer SRP and noticed that the right side of the safety seems to bend in (right side when looking from the back). When I called Les Baer (spoke to the man himself), he said that this was the case for SRP because right side panel was not designed to put pressure on it like as if your a left hander on the thumb safety. Has anyone hear about this or am I just tripping.

just trying to figure this out,

If you're talking about the slight inward curvature of the right-side (from rear) of the ambi-safety... every SRP I've handled has been like that (5+). I'm not sure why they're designed like that, but they have all had that curve, so I wouldn't be worried about it.

thanks for your input. on my other brand 1911's they were pretty straight but for some reason this thing had that weird curve making it look crooked it from the back so i thought it was a defect. you know just wanted to make sure everything was perfect after spending the $$$.
