redcliff.. love that handloads site. I think they are taking the data from marshals study and some is a bit dated.. the book is great tho. they explain the situation. The "one shot stop" meant that the perp did not move forward or away after the shot (on the torso).. some rounds tho.. like the 44 mag were 100% kill shots. the silvertip is not the best 44 mag round but was pretty good back then. even the relatively weak 210 silvertip outpenetrated all but the rifle rounds.

The .357 was about the most data so is maybe the most relevant.. over 5 times more shootings and with the standard 125 federal.. I bought 1,000 rounds of that stuff from ammoman for my 340pd.. a lifetimes worth out of that little hand grenade.

anyway.. the marshal study is a bit dated now but facinating.
