Glock Magazines

Hey guys, I was wondering if the G17, G19, and G26 uses the same mags. I was thinking about picking up a couple more Glocks in the future and was curious.

I'm not the guru of Glocks but I do know that a G17 mag will work in a G19 but not vice versa. The G19 mag just isn't long enough to seat in the G17.

yes. a bigger 9mm glock mag will fit in the smaller ones. not the other way around. same as the 357sig/40s&w, 45acp and 10mm. only exception is that I dont think the sf mags will fit in the regular frame mags.

SF magazines work in regular guns, but not the other way.

why is that? I've used pre-ban G21 mags in my G21SF and they fit & function just fine. Looking at the standard G21 mag and the "SF" mag, I don't see any difference in markings or physical size.

You can make a G17 accept a G26 mag. That will require some sawing though...

Older Glock magazines without the center cut out with the metal tab catch will not work with models with the ambi mag release.

I'll take that back then. I was told at the local store when they had some on sale, the guy said the regular wouldn't work in my SF.

G21 and G30 mags will not work in the G36.

Isn't the Gen 4 with no backstrap an SF?
Old and new magazines work in my gen 4 as long as you don't change the release to lefty.
