finally got my Ravens for two of my babies!

After nearly 5 months, my Raven holsters finally arrived. i talked to Eugene a bit at the Ontario Gun Show and i will be ordering up a couple of his holsters for a couple of my other babies soon...his wait time is much better than Raven's.











The fit is exact on these things. They are snug, yet still relatively easy to draw from, unlike my Fobus for my G19. The Colt is showing some wear from the holster, but it is most likely due to the finish of the Colt and would probably happen with any holster. i am looking forward to trying a Kaluban Cloak holster for my G19.

the md cut was the preferred holster used in the "The Art of the Dynamic Handgun" DVD.

i had considered the MD cut, but i ended up going with the standard cut for these two guns since they have external safeties...didn't want the safety to be accidentally switched on or off. The MD cut would have allowed me to carry in any condition. however, even with the regular cut, my Colt can be carried in any condition, but the high cut in the back protects the safety from inadvertently being switched. The HK45 is a different story...the way i ordered it, it can only be holstered with the safety off. i did it this way since my other guns do not have external safeties and i want to keep things simple when handling multiple firearms...not having to remember to switch from safe to fire. for the mag holsters, i did end up getting the MD cut for the clipped front corners.

for my glock, whether i go with Raven or Kaluban, i may go with the MD style cut, but with a standard cant.
