    new Tracy store

There's a new gun store in Tracy, the guy that started it up is pretty young (at least, that's the impression I get from the newspaper story about it--if so, good for him!)...anyone have any experience there? I was thinking about stopping by tomorrow after work.

An address would be nice, maybe the name of the store.

Tracy Rifle and Pistol? That's PolishMike's shop. Opened in February. He's got a thread on here somewhere...let me find it and I'll link to it...

Yeah, I don't know the name...was thinking I'd wait til tomorrow when I could get to a phone book (I live in Modesto, Tracy's not in our phone listings), but your post got me motivated to go look for the newspaper article from the Tracy Press.

No problem. Mike carries all the good stuff in his shop (what would you expect from a Calgunner with his own gun store?). I still gotta make my way up there to say hi and check the place out.

I was there last saturday for a transfer. My new to me shotgun is a prisoner there currently. Easy to find, it's the parking lot directly to the right of the Tracy mall on the same street. 30 seconds off the freeway.

                  Just putting it out there..

I was in there a few weeks ago to look around. In a strip mall near Grant Line. Only had a few minuets. Noonish on a week day and the place was busy with about a dozen or so people at the counter waiting for help. Could not see much in the cases because of crowd but lots of AW type rifles and SGs on the walls. Staff welcomed me as I came in and said goodby when I left. Seems like a cool place and will stop by again when I have more time.

As stands have bought 2 guns from him. Sent the neighbor in, and his safe is 3 heavier now.Nice shop, friendly staff, good selection, and getting better.(still a young shop) I drive over from livermore, and wont even shop anywhere else. He always beats their prices anyway.

Two big thumbs to a great shop, with helpfull and friendly staff.

There's just as much or more in there than any other shop in the area except maybe Barnwood.

Sounds great... I ended up not making it in yesterday after all (drama at home *sigh*). Might be for the best--I might have bought something I really shouldn't, since this summer I'm putting in a swimming pool and my disposable income needs to be going in that direction, not in boomsticks.
